And, Life Keeps Moving Along

My Grandparents' Farm
Saturday mornings after a hectic week are wonderful, even if the mound of things that has to be done by Monday morning is intimidating.  There is something special about a Saturday -- a break from the daily routine -- be it working in ones yoga pants instead of a suit (which Project Good Life will be doing today), or being able to meet a friend for a quick breakfast chat instead of having to settle for short lines over e-mail.  As a child, my favorite Saturdays were when my mother would surprise us and drive us several hours to our grandparents' house and farm (pictured above).  Now, I do not have occasion to pay my grandparents a personal visit, but I still think of them most every Saturday morning.

I have found recently that time is moving faster than it ever did in my past.  This is probably because I am getting older and, as my Grandfather once told me (when, as a young child, I was amazed that he could not recall which precise year he purchased his farm), with age, years seem like months, months like weeks, weeks like days, and days like precious moments. Project Good Life is committed to savoring those precious moments, even when they come and go all too quickly.  Happy Saturday.
