Good Life Back: Hiatus Over.

Project Good Life's one-week hiatus from blogging is over.  We know that it is so cliche to start a blog and then stop blogging a couple of weeks in and will not bore you with the range of excuses as to why we have not been paying attention to our dear readers.  Suffice it to say that we have missed you, missed live-blogging the Good Life, and we are glad to be back.  A lot has happened in a week -- and we have much to blog about -- most importantly, the Green and Gold took home their first Heisman trophy.  RG III's moving speech about the unbelievable, believable nature of his win showcased, I thought, the very best of our alma mater.  (As we followed the Heisman coverage, we were reminded that ladies following college football is something so essentially Southern, and have a post in the works on this phenomenon).  We volunteered (and shopped) at the Junior League's Capitol Collection of Holiday Shops, hopped a train to New York and saw some shows, co-hosted a brunch, and made some excellent vegetables for a friend's holiday party.  We also discovered pinterest (which we encourage all of our readers to explore), volunteered at a neighborhood charity, did some holiday shopping, planned a vacation, and, of course, did a bit of work.  But, among all of this activity, we have missed you and hope you have missed being reminded of bits of the Good Life. The Good Life is back; hiatus is over. Stay tuned.
